Can I plug in a higher voltage into my GWA junction box to get sweeter tones?
Please don’t. You will damage your new, shiny junction and void your warranty. We take care of the sweet tones internally. All you need to worry about is plugging in 9v DC centre negative, and we will work our tone magic for you inside your box!
Do GWA guitar cables make me play better?
Yes… Actually no. They don’t. But, we have had numerous customers, sound operators and soon to be guitar players report back noticeably clearer tone with a wider frequency response. As for nailing those Stevie Ray Vaughn licks, plug one end of your new Goodwood cable into your guitar, the other end into your amp… and practice.
Build Times
These are typically listed on the product page, but if they aren't, build times typically go as follows:
Soldered Patch Cable Designer: (any cable off the website): We endeavour to get these shipped within 4 business days of the order being placed. With well over 10,000 variations of cables on the website, we cannot make these ahead of time, they are made to order and therefore take a few days before they ship.
Standard Junction Boxes: Our pre-made junction boxes (Interfacer, Underfacer, Output, Audition, RMT) are generally ready to ship within 2 business days of ordering.
Custom Junction Boxes: This section refers to Custom Junctions you can order off the website (not to be confused with made to spec custom junctions where you will have a one-on-one consult with Goodwood Audio). These lead times are posted on the individual Custom Junction web pages. We are trying to get these lead times down going, but keep checking these web pages or get in touch with us with any questions!
Parts Store and Accessories: These parts generally ship within 1-2 business days of ordering as we have them in stock and ready to go!
Midi Mods: If you decide to install your midi mod yourself, we will ship your mod within 1-2 business days of ordering. If you decide to get Goodwood to do the install for you, we will get in touch with you within 1-2 business days with shipping instructions and next steps.
Shipping Information
We know the best part about buying a new product is receiving that freshly wrapped package in the mail. The worst part however, is the agonising wait of what seems like decades for it to arrive. We will always do our best to get your newly purchased product to you in a timely manner.
USA Domestic
All orders are sent via USPS Priority (or express if you choose) and generally arrives within 3-7 days for Priority and 1-3 days for Priority Express.
If you don't receive a tracking number from us after purchase, first check your junk folder, then send us an e-mail and we will find it for you!
Australia Domestic
We ship with Australia Post for domestic shipments. These typically arrive within 5-7 days. You also have the option to upgrade to Express. Express shipments typically arrive within 1-3 days.
International
We use USPS and DHL for International shipping. Since Covid hit, international shipping has been very hard to predict with any certainty. Please be patient and don't be alarmed if your order takes a bit longer than normal!
Your items will ship from our USA location if you are located in Canada or Mexico. Your package will ship with USPS Priority International.
If you are located anywhere else in the world your package will ship DHL Express from our Australia location.
